NASHVILLE, TN.-  On this day 236 years ago many brave men and women witnessed firsthand the birth of the greatest nation known to man. Though through the years we as a nation have seen our fair share of struggles and strife, we have continually persevered and maintained our spot as world leader.  Today as we take time to attend picnics, parades and barbeques let us not forget how blessed we are to live in a free country. We as Americans too often take for granted our freedoms and liberties that have been protected for generations by men and women in uniform; therefore, on this day let us also not forget to thank those who have served, are serving and who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
